A Good Laugh

We went for a walk tonight, to explore the area a little.... when the walk was winding down, Soo-Min's mother surprised us by taking us to a Baskin Robbins (yes, they have them here!). The following, according to Soo-Min, is the conversation between the two young men working behind the counter:

Guy One: Crap! I can't speak English! Can you?

Guy Two: Me neither! What do we do?

Soo-Min asks me what I want in English at this point.

Guy One: Oh, good...she speaks English!

When soo-Min told me, I laughed so hard. Poor guys genuinely seemed to panic. I thanked the first gentleman in Korean and shocked him further. I hope this happens again... It was hilarious.
